Just one additional suggestion: If you are going to use a bar chart that is so closely stacked to each other then it is best to use a line chart instead. It is easy on eyes and makes much sense.

  • Annual Interest rates
  • home price change %
  • homes sold by year %

The dashboard could be improved by providing the legends and making the right choice for the charts.

Dear Dashboarders, choice of charts and gauges is very dear to a dashboard. Please hone your skills in Visual Analytics, talk to the Business user before you finalize the choice of instruments on the dashboard. A data-set can be represented with multiple ways and since your dashboard tool provides this facility of picking any chart type doesn’t mean you can pick any randomly.
