In this article Leadership Management dashboard discussed how CSREES uses Oracle Portal technology for their reporting and Dashboard needs.

Joseph Barbano (REEIS-Leadership Mgmt Dashboard Project Manager) kindly sent us the link to their dashboard portal.

When you logon to the system you get to perform few setups to register with the database.

There are three subtabs that you can submit your settings for.

Knowledge Are, Subjects and Field of Science

Once you submit them, you can then go and access the screenshots and analytics. The Dashboards are based on Oracle Portal and Discoverer Portlets

Administration, Soil, Land, Watersheds, Wetland and riparian systems, Watersheds and river basins, general ….

Here are few acronyms and legends

# USDA – CSREES: Projects sponsored by the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service that are authorized to expend CSREES-administered funds.
# USDA – ARS: Projects submitted by and sponsored or conducted by the Agricultural Research Service that receive no CSREES-administered funds.
# USDA - ERS: Projects submitted by and sponsored or conducted by the Economic Research Service that receive no CSREES-administered funds.
# USDA – FS: Projects submitted by and sponsored or conducted by the Forest Service that receive no CSREES-administered funds.
# Cooperating Institutions: Projects submitted and managed by cooperating institutions that receive no CSREES-administered funds.
# ALL: A compilation of all projects submitted to CRIS
